Account Manager

Our client based in Honiton is looking for two Account Managers to join their team. This is a great company to work for. They have gained the Investors in People award since 2002 and they are the only company in their industry to be awarded the national ServiceMark customer service award with Distinction from the Institute of Customer Service.

Salary

£23,484 plus £5k OTE, uncapped commission (OTE is protected/paid fully during 6-month training period).

Location

Honiton, Devon (hybrid working possibly offered after 6-month probation period).

Hours

Monday-Friday, 9 am-5 pm

Type of Role

Full-time, permanent.

The Role

The Account Managers will:

  • Be responsible for managing their own customer base.
  • Establish and develop relationships with pre-quote and post-quote customers through telephone contact, correspondence and participation at exhibitions to ensure that all personal and sales targets are achieved.
  • Follow-up projects to an agreed SLA to ensure conversion of sales opportunities is maximised.
  • Handle all incoming phone and written requests from prospects and act on these involving other members of the business as appropriate.
  • Handle customer objections and use their negotiation skills to manage the customer relationship through to order.
  • Where orders are confirmed, ensure customer information passed to the design team is obtained in a timely fashion and is accurate and informative.
  • Record all data in the appropriate manner in the company’s CRM system ensuring they have recorded all of the necessary details.

Candidates should:

  • Have account management experience
  • Have exceptional customer relationship management skills
  • A customer-centric approach to consultative technical sales.
  • Be hungry, driven and a self-starter
  • Be sociable and confident
  • Have experience of, and be happy working to targets
  • Be happy to learn and a quick learner
  • Have good levels of IT experience.
