Account Manager

Our client based in Honiton is looking for three professional Account Managers to join their friendly team to help them service existing clients, develop new ones, and expand their business within the electrical industry. This is a varied role involving sales, customer service, administration and logistical planning.

Salary

The position has a basic salary of £22,000, with a very realistic OTE of £30,000+

Mon – Thurs 08:30 – 16:30, Fri 08:30 – 15:00

The Role

The key responsibilities of the role include:

 

  • Purchasing large volumes of electronic components from worldwide clients, and reselling to existing buyers
  • Building strong customer relationships and ensuring a great customer experience with existing and potential customers.

Our client offers a professional, friendly, flexible and modern working environment, full training and constant mentor support is provided to ensure individuals reach their full potential, five weeks annual leave (increasing to six), mobile phone and laptop.

The Requirements

Candidates should:

 

  • Ideally have previous sales experience or a background in the electronics industry.
  • Be a sales-minded individual – tenacious, motivated by earnings and eager to learn.
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills in order to make professional contact with new and existing clients.
  • Be happy working to targets.
  • Be happy reaching out to prospects using social media such as Linkedin with some cold-calling.
  • Be able to work well in a team environment.
  • Be motivated and conscientious and thrive on being successful with a great work ethic.
  • Possess excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Be professional with excellent inter-personnel skills.
  • Be able to multi-task and prioritise effectively in order to manage what can be at times a heavy workload.
  • (A fluent second language would be very useful in the role, but not essential).
