Our client is a progressive and expanding company with offices in Bath, Plympton, Caerphilly and Redruth.

The company has grown over the last 25 years from an amalgam of smaller office equipment suppliers to a fully integrated multi-million-pound organisation. They are now seeking an Accounts Assistant to embrace these values and to join their team in their head office in Bath.




Bath, Somerset with very occasional travel to other offices within the group including travel to the Caerphilly office once or twice per month (Free onsite parking is available at all offices).


Monday to Friday, 8:30 am-5 pm.

Type of Role

Full-time, permanent

The Role

The role involves the following duties:

Purchase Ledger:

  • Logging overhead invoices
  • Matching all statements
  • Paying suppliers and posting payments
  • Supplier account queries

Sales Ledger:

  • Logging BACS and Cheque receipts from customers
  • Customer refunds
  • Credit control
  • Manage monthly Direct Debit Collection
  • Assist in account and billing enquiries

General Office:

  • As part of the administration team the candidate will also need to be comfortable answering the telephone to customer, suppliers, and our engineers.
  • Log service/toner calls during busy times and holiday cover.

Full training will be provided.

The Requirements

Candidate requirements:

  • Candidates must hold a valid UK driving licence and have access to their own vehicle.
  • Candidates will ideally possess AAT Level 2.
