Our client, based in Honiton and operating within the renewables market, is looking for a Customer Support candidate to join their friendly customer services team on a 12-month fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave.

Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours, 9 am-5 pm (the company would consider a 30-hour week – 6 hours per day for the right candidate).
Type of Role
The Role
The role will involve, albeit not limited to, the following:
- Acting as the first point of contact for any incoming queries
- Contacting customers to arrange deliveries
- Ordering and arranging direct-to-site deliveries
- Dealing with a variety of people
- Undertake sales order fulfilment
- Checking carrier invoices and reporting details to Finance
- Stock support, including checking and entering stock receipts, resolving stock queries and undertaking stocktaking
- Managing and administering returns and investigating and processing carrier claims
- General basic admin using emails (Outlook), Word and the company’s bespoke systems, which the candidate will receive training on
- Preparing and putting together manuals and documents for customers
- This can be a hectic role involving a high volume of incoming and conflicting demands.
Training: Full training will be provided on all aspects of the position; however, candidates must be willing to learn.

Candidates must be:
- Professional and well-spoken with a good telephone manner
- Customer service focused
- Diligently maintaining and creating of accurate company records
- IT literate
- Confident in dealing with incoming and outgoing telephone calls
- Able to work to tight deadlines and prioritise workloads
- Able to work in a calm and methodical manner
- Able to work on your own initiative without supervision
- Possess good numerical skills
- Able to be flexible and adaptable to the needs of the business
- Familiarity with CRM systems (ideally)
