Inside Sales Executive

Our client is looking for someone to join their Swansea-based team. As one of the UK’s leading O2 Direct Partners and longest-established B2B providers in the industry, they offer small to enterprise customers a unified communications offering consisting of mobiles, hosted telephony, fixed lines, connectivity and IT Services.

To best tackle this role, you’ll delve into new opportunities every day and always strive to identify new prospects across the B2B sector. If you’re an ambitious and driven individual passionate about delivering customer excellence, this role could be for you.

Salary

£18k-22k (negotiable) plus uncapped commission.

Location

Swansea (one day per week working from home – flexible for the right candidate).

Hours

Monday to Friday, 8:30 am-5 pm

Type of Role

Full-time, permanent, although part-time/flexible hours are considered for the right candidate.

The Role

  • You’ll join the company’s Unified Communications sales team in promoting, supporting and selling their entire portfolio of products and services across all segments of the UK SME market.
  • You will be responsible for identifying and developing opportunities through sustained desk-based prospecting activity and booking appointments for business development specialists.
  • Undertaking a multi-pronged approach using the telephone, email and social media.
  • You will be given access to a database of over 5000 business GDPR-compliant records for prospecting. This will be supported by supplementary outbound marketing activity to warm your prospect base.
  • You will also be expected to add new businesses to this base from other sources.
  • In addition, you will be trained to eventually close new business opportunities over the phone of a certain size when appropriate.

Training: Internal and external training and training from manufacturers of the company’s products will be provided.

Career progression: The company provide you with the skills and experience necessary to move into a business development role in the future should you wish.

The Requirements

  • Experience in the Telecoms industry is preferred, although not essential.
  • Experience in a previously targeted outbound telemarketing/sales role is a prerequisite.
  • Strong communication skills with a robust customer-centric approach to delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Excellent organisation, prioritisation and time management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Good Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook knowledge.
  • Ability to work proactively and comfortably using your initiative in an environment where priorities can change regularly.
  • High energy, drive, and enthusiasm with a passion for developing and being an active and supportive team member.
  • To be able to prioritise and manage workload effectively.
  • Work well under pressure.
  • Ideally, previous use of a CRM system (Salesforce).
