Sales Development Representative

Our client offers an award-winning, ground-breaking and disruptive technology that is proven to have dramatic effects on the automotive industry. They are continuing their exciting growth plans and are now looking for two Sales Development Representatives to join their Lead Generation team.

The Sales Development Representative will ideally have previous B2B telesales/ telemarketing experience; however, they welcome applications from individuals who are motivated, professional and open to learning


​£20k-£25k, OTE £30k-£35k in 1st year with uncapped commission.


Currently Chudleigh, Nr Exeter (Winslade Park, Nr Clyst St Mary from November). This will be a hybrid role with 2 days in the office and 3 days working remotely.


Monday to Friday 8:30 am until 5 pm/5:30 pm (depending on how long your lunch break is) with an early finish at 4:30 pm on a Friday.

The Role

  • Working within the Lead Generation Team, the Sales Development Representative will be working to defined activity levels to reach KPI’s and a ‘Meetings booked and attended’ target.
  • Building and cultivating relationships with our client’s partners in order to create meetings and sales opportunities for the Sales Team.
  • Building business relationships via warm and cold calling, also using social media such as Linkedin and voice notes.
  • Working closely with all internal departments and teams to ensure the company’s proposition is fully understood and delivering exceptional customer experience to prospects through you and your team.
  • Capturing information in the company’s CRM system (Salesforce) and ensuring all communications and outcomes are correctly recorded.
  • Providing a summary report on weekly performance at weekly sales meetings and as required by the business.

Excellent onboarding programme, sales training, tools and coaching will be provided in order to ensure the successful candidate succeeds. The candidate will also have access to a 1-2-1 with a top UK sales trainer that they are able to book for up to 3 hours per month, the company also offer subsidised training too.

The Requirements

  • Ideally demonstrable success in prospecting and creating meetings.
  • Ability and motivation to self-generate leads, opportunities through a variety of sources, including cold/warm calling and online activity.
  • Ability and attitude to meet and/or exceed results and realistic activity targets.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload to achieve required personal and organisational objectives.
  • Excellent spoken and strong written communication skills.
  • Computer and IT literate, including Microsoft Office suite.
