Our client is a well-established and trusted name in the fire and security industry, delivering innovative solutions to clients nationwide. From Blue-Chip businesses to Police Forces, they design, install and maintain integrated security systems for some of the UK’s most respected organisations.
They are now looking for a skilled and motivated Security Installation and Service Engineer to join their North West team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, commissioning and maintaining a range of security systems, including access control, CCTV, intruder alarms and fire systems.

The Role
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and commission access control, CCTV, intruder alarms, and other integrated security solutions
- Carry out servicing and reactive maintenance on security and fire systems (notifier fire experience desirable but not essential)
- Work closely with project managers to meet deadlines and quality standards
- Keep accurate records of installations and maintenance
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and company expectations
- Overnight allowance & accommodation when working away
- No on-call requirements

The Requirements
Experience Required:
- Technical experience with access control, CCTV, fire and intruder alarm systems
- Experience with Lenel, PAC or Cathexis VMS (desirable but not essential)
- Ability to read technical drawings and wiring diagrams
- ECS/CSCS/IPAF or similar qualifications (advantageous)
- Full UK driving licence and the ability to pass police vetting
- Willingness to travel and work away when needed
- Engineers willing to train and develop are encouraged to apply
