Since 1997, our client based in Honiton has been supporting their worldwide customers by purchasing and reselling stock, sourcing obsolete parts, and providing global warehousing solutions. Due to continued growth, they’re now looking for three Account Managers to join their friendly, professional team.
As an Account Manager, you’ll be responsible for purchasing large volumes of electronic components and reselling them to existing buyers. You’ll be given a portfolio of accounts from day one, while also building relationships with new prospects through research and outreach (including cold contact when needed).
This isn’t a “hard sales” role – instead, it’s about developing relationships, growing accounts, and working closely with the team to hit targets. You’ll receive complete training and dedicated mentorship to help you succeed.
Salary
£27k base salary + bonuses (realistic OTE £32k+) plus mobile phone, laptop and individual, team and best achiever incentives.
Location
Honiton, Devon. Hybrid working option (2 days/week from home after training).
Hours
Mon to Thurs 08:30 am – 4:30 pm, Fri 08:30 am – 3:00 pm.
Type of Role
Full-time, permanent. 5 weeks’ annual leave (increasing to 6 with service)
The Role
- Manage and grow relationships with existing clients
- Proactively research and approach potential new customers
- Purchase and resell electronic components across global markets
- Prepare quotes, negotiate, and close deals
- Maintain accurate records and work
The Requirements
Our client is looking for a motivated, sales-minded individual who’s eager to learn and succeed. You’ll thrive in a busy, team-focused environment and be results-driven.
Ideally, you’ll have:
- Previous sales or account management experience (electronics industry knowledge is a plus, but not essential)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Good IT skills (Excel experience desirable)
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities
- The ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
- A second language (helpful, but not essential)
