Our client is a leading provider of title insurance for commercial property transactions in the UK and is part of the global powerhouse First American Financial Corporation. Their innovative policies help lawyers, developers, and lenders resolve complex property issues efficiently, enabling seamless transactions across the real estate sector.

They’re now expanding their UK Commercial team and seeking a dynamic Business Development Executive to drive revenue growth, enhance their market presence, and build lasting relationships across the legal, lending and commercial real estate sectors, of the role.

Salary

​£40k plus £68k commission with £7k car allowance.

The Role

Reporting to the Head of Sales & Marketing UK, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing a results-driven sales plan for Commercial Title Insurance.
  • Identifying and securing new business across Greater London and surrounding counties (Herts, Essex, Kent, Middlesex, Surrey, Berkshire).
  • Managing existing/new relationships with key clients, including law firms, lenders, and funds.
  • Representing the business at key industry events and client meetings.
  • Working closely with internal departments to meet client needs and resolve issues quickly.

You’ll be expected to meet and exceed revenue targets, supported by strong marketing, product training, and a culture focused on professional development and success.

The Requirements

We’re seeking a self-starter with strong commercial awareness, ideally with experience selling services into:

  • The commercial real estate sector,
  • Law firms, lenders, or other professional service environments.

You will also bring:

  • A consistent track record of high-achieving new business development.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence senior decision makers.
  • A consultative approach, capable of understanding clients’ business challenges and providing bespoke risk-management solutions.
  • Independence and organisation — you’ll manage your own pipeline, meetings, and territory.
  • A full driving licence and a full UK driving licence, and ideally access to your own car (travel is essential).
