This is an exciting new role for a driven, sales professional to join a fast-growing telecoms company with UK-wide presence. Our client is seeking a Sales Account Manager to sell their unified communications and connectivity products into their existing client base across Devon and Cornwall. This role is offered on a hybrid basis with the office base being in Falmouth.
This exciting role provides an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to take the next step in their sales career, having already worked in a UC sales or business development role for at least 24 months, selling unified communications, cloud-based voice solutions and/or internet connectivity.
Salary
£35k-£45k basic salary, uncapped commission, OTE £80k plus car mileage paid.

The Role
The successful Sales Account Manager will sell our client’s products and services in a B2B environment by:
- Working with the Head of Marketing and Sales Director to participate in the planning and executing marketing campaigns to generate awareness of the company’s services and new business opportunities.
- New business lead generation through various other means such as business networking events, referral partnerships, cold calling, exhibitions and working with our existing client base to refer them to other opportunities within the same vertical market.
- Quickly responding to inbound sales enquiries that are allocated to them.
- Regular face to face contact with customer accounts that are allocated to them.
- Quickly and accurately responding to all enquiries from your allocated customer accounts.
- Develop and maintain an account plan for each account managed client.
- Cross selling the company’s product portfolio to their allocated client base.
- Entering data into the company’s CRM software and maintaining the accuracy of the data over time.
- Attendance of all relevant training courses as arranged by the company.
Territory: The successful candidate will cover Devon and Cornwall.

The Requirements
The successful candidate must:
- Have worked in a UC sales or business development role for at least 24 months, selling unified communications, cloud-based voice solutions and internet connectivity.
- Possess a full driving license and access to their own vehicle.
