Account Manager

Our client is looking for an Account Manager to join their team. This is a great opportunity to join one of their internal sales teams working for a company that truly values its employees.

Up to £30k basic plus uncapped commission (realistic OTE of £5k per annum).


Honiton, Devon (hybrid working after initial training)


Monday to Friday, 9 am-5 pm

The Role

In this role, you will manage your section of the company’s trade customer base.

You will be expected to maintain the required conversion and retention rates through effective contact and relationship building with existing and new customers, specifying the right product for that customer, and managing the customer relationships, regardless of whether that customer has a live project.

You will ensure that a tailored package of support is in place to facilitate long-term sales growth for your portfolio of customer accounts.

You must be a team player, confident, and driven to ensure that personal sales targets are met while contributing to achieving the trade team sales target.

Training: a comprehensive 12-week induction and training programme is provided.

The Requirements

The successful Account Manager will:

  • Have account management/customer service experience
  • Have exceptional customer relationship management skills
  • Customer centric approach to consultative sales.
  • Be hungry, driven and a self-starter
  • Have good levels of IT literacy
  • Be a good communicator and confident
  • Have experience of, and be happy working to targets
  • Be happy to learn.
  • Ideally you will have experience within the heating and ventilation industry, although not essential.
