Care Coordinator

Our client is looking for a Care Coordinator to join their team in Manchester to service their existing client base in the healthcare industry to ensure client and clinician satisfaction. The successful candidate will provide support and interaction to clients and clinicians within the company to ensure staffing solutions are provided with precision and accuracy, matching the needs of the client to the skills of the clinicians in accordance with current best practices, policies and procedures, agreed standards, legislative requirements and relevant regulations.

Salary

£25k to £27k (depending on experience) plus on-call rate of pay.

Location

Manchester (office-based for 6 months, then hybrid working)

Hours

Monday to Friday, office-hours, plus on-call duties (one weekend per month and one-two shifts during the week).

Type of Role

Full-time, permanent.

The Role

The role will involve:

  • Offering support and interaction to clients and clinicians within the organisation while exceeding clients’ aspirations by going the extra mile to deliver quality service.
  • Focusussing on providing staffing solutions for all client account management issues in solid cooperation with the Transforming Care teams, Account Management, and Sales, as well as promoting company retention and development.
  • Managing all incoming inquiries while collaborating with team members to ensure they are addressed quickly, successfully, and in a manner that accommodates our client’s needs.
  • Ensuring precise and accurate staffing solutions are provided, matching the client’s requirements to the clinicians’ abilities in adherence to current guidelines, policy, procedures, agreed-on standards, legislative requirements, and relevant regulations.

The Requirements

Candidates must have:

  • Previous experience in a senior role within the healthcare sector or in positions such as Care Coordinator or Team Leader: they are looking for someone to hit the ground running.
  • Previous experience dealing with or within a high-volume incoming call and query environment.
  • Experince using the relevant business software such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • A driving license – There will be travel required between offices for coaching, training, and events.
  • At least NVQ level 2 in Health and Social Care (desirable).
