Sales and Logistics Administrator

Reporting to the office manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and updating all sales orders, using spreadsheets and our bespoke trading system. You will be responsible for communicating effectively with customers, hauliers, both inbound/outbound and general queries. You will be reprocessing stock daily and participating in regular stock control checks.

Salary

£26k to £28k (depending on level of experience) plus annual bonus.

Location

Willand, Devon (office-based).

Hours

Monday to Friday, 8 am-4 pm.

Type of Role

Full-time, temp to perm (with 7 weeks if probation passed).

The Role

Reporting to the office manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and updating all sales orders, using spreadsheets and our bespoke trading system. You will be responsible for communicating effectively with customers, hauliers, both inbound/outbound and general queries. You will be reprocessing stock daily and participating in regular stock control checks.

Training: In-house company training will be provided, including training on the company’s IT system, iBridge. The business utilises Office programs, including SharePoint, Outlook, and Excel.

Career progression: This is a very proactive role, and the MD is always keen to help people progress where he sees a chance.

The Requirements

  • Professional telephone manner
  • Highly organised
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to cope under pressure and to prioritise workloads.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Previous experience in an office admin and logistics role/environment.
  • Computer literate to more than just a basic level. We have our own bespoke system which will take time to learn but will be fully supported.
