Sales Executive (remotely based)

Our client is the fastest-growing business in their sector internationally, and they plan to double the business in the next 12 months, with ambitious, high-calibre salespeople to help them penetrate further into existing and new markets.

The sales cycle is short, so deals are closed in weeks, enabling their sales team to earn commission immediately. Plus, commissions are uncapped, giving individuals unlimited scope to earn.

Salary

Basic salary from £25k up to £70k (depending on experience), OTE double the basic, plus uncapped commission.

Location

Remotely-based (company’s head office is in London).

Hours

Monday to Friday, 8:30 am-5:30 pm (although the customer base is global, this does not affect the working hours).

Type of Role

Full-time, permanent.

The Role

Successful candidates will be selling internationally and will be responsible for the full 360 sales cycle spanning IT, Cyber, Data, Martech, HR Tech and related fields. However, a background in technology is not required.

This is effectively a 360 sales role that will commence with new business development. The successful candidate and the manager will devise a sales strategy; the company have ‘data scrapers’ and some leads will be provided.

Training: Two weeks initial training will be provided (either remotely or in the London office). There will then be daily/weekly ongoing support from the managers. The company like to create a supportive working environment. But not to micro-manage.

Career progression: The company offer genuine progression opportunities and successful individuals are trained and developed to become managers, who then in turn build a team themselves.

Probation period: 3 months.

Interview process: Two remote interviews.

Start date: ASAP for the right candidate.

The Requirements

The successful candidate should:

  • Have at least two years’ experience of high activity B2B sales background and undertaking their own lead generation.
  • Possess a track record in new business generation and account growth, including: lead generation; outreach techniques; pitch to close.
  • Have experience of making outbound contact: They must be doing their own lead generation at a good volume (at least 100 emails, 50 cold calls, 50 LinkedIn’s per day).
  • Have a proven track record of achieving targets.
  • Possess good use of LinkedIn (sales navigator).
  • Be an over-achievers and be capable of demonstrating this: sharing internal leader boards, commissions, hours worked etc.
  • Demonstrate high drive and adaptability.
  • Possess a LinkedIn profile with over 500 connections.
  • Possess excellent communication skills and be able to communicate clearly and effectively in both verbal and written forms.
  • Ideally have experience using a CRM system.
